Why split AMoL into three?

Post  Eric Gaidin on Tue Jun 30, 2009 9:19 am

I'm not going to comment too much here, because Brandon Sanderson already answered the question extremely thoroughly: Sanderson's Blog

I completely agree with Sanderson after reading his blog post. I recommend anyone to read it if they're feeling really irked by the decision to split the book. It's all about quality. Sanderson cares about it, and all real fans care about it too. You can also sum it up this way: I've been reading the series since 1994, four years after EotW was published. Many fans have been reading the series since 1990. It's 2009 folks. Next year is the 20th anniversary of The Wheel of Time. We can't wait another two years for the ending?
