Wizard's First Rule

Terry Goodkind is one of my favorite fantasy authors and i highly recommend him for anyone who likes fantasy. His series starts with the book Wizard's First Rule, and it is a great book and should be read. I loved every book in his series, and if you like fantasy you should read it.

What separates this series from other fantasy stories?

For starters, i love the fact that in The Sword of Truth series (just remembered the name, im still recalling other things about it), there are many new ideas of fantasy that i have never read about. For instance, the Sword of Truth is a new concept, and also the fact of Confessors being able to destroy someone with love is amazing.

Also, i love that throught the books Richard is the Seeker of Truth and is in control of that power, but his other power of being a wizard he has no clue what to do and just kinda doesnt use that, even though as you find out later he is the most powerful wizard alive being a war wizard.
