WHO THE HECK IS PADAN FAIN? Good lord, can this get answered already? He's an amazing badass--can tack a Myrrdraal to a door--yet we know nothing about the man. Really chaps my ass.

As for Padin Fain I agree. We need to learn more about this character. I am assuming he will play a big role in Tarmon Gai'don. He will have to be explained more. Jordan was too good of a writer to introduce a character like that with no real purpose. If he wrote him in as a red herring to make people think something big was coming from him and gives us nothing, that's the worst case of blue balls in the history of novels . The only thing comparable was the ending to the Ascension comic book (too bad only Eric will get that)

First off, I need to say that your use of emoticons was exquisite. LOL. But I completely agree. If Padan Fain doesn't play a big role in the last novel I'm going to go ape shit. He has been such a wonder and sense of fear throughout the novels that it has to be explained. Do you hear me Mr. Sanderson? IT HAS TO!
