It was mentioned earlier as well but when they reach the Green Man he also mentions that Moraine has seen him before. I didn't think much of it at the time but now I want to know what the great need to talk to the green man was the first time. RJ goes to great lengths to establish that in order to find the Green Man there must be a great need to find him. You could assume the great need is to find the Dragon Reborn, so perhaps this first meeting takes place somewhere in the New Spring trilogy. It would be interesting to see why she went there the first time, especially if it wasn't to find the DR.
